The 5000ADS bass drum pedal features the Accelerator drive system which offers a  motion that creates an indirect relationship between the sprocket and the footboard. This increases the velocity of the pedal by shortening the length of the stroke. It is recommended for situations that require increased speed and sensitivity. The 5000 Series pedals have been created to have more gripping strength and to also provide a stronger connection between drummer and kick drum.
